LASP - Lot acceptance sampling plan
Acceptance sampling plan

An acceptance sampling plan lays somewhere between no inspection at all and 100% inspection.

There are two major classifications of acceptance plans, by attributes or discrete data ("go, no-go") and by variable data, (real numbers). The attribute case is the most common for acceptance sampling.

There are several different methods to create such a plan. They include the Two-Point Method, Reverse of the Two-Point Method, and OC-Curve to name just a few.

For additional information see What kinds of Lot Acceptance Sampling Plans (LASPs) are there?
