Control Plan

Working diagrams, (sometimes block diagrams), that will suggest all the key design, key process, and/or key procedure issues that are recognized during the initial planning stages. See CDR, (Concept Design Review).

It should use a balanced control approach in six sigma, ISO-9000, or similar quality systems for the operation to help aid in the designing of quality and reliability to insure that control is preserved through the entire operation.

Control charts are typically used in a control plan to monitor items. Control plans are usually at least monitored by the QA, (quality assurance), departments using inspection procedures and sometimes using QFD, (quality function deployment), methods. Control plans can be very complex.
