LTPD - Lot tolerance percent
defective
Lot Tolerance Percent Defective is a
specific high defect reading that would be
objectionable to the customer
requirements. The percent defective has a
lower probability, (about 5% to 10%),
of getting passed through quality
inspections with the sampling plan.
Some believe that all lots reading better
than lot tolerance percent defective should be accepted and all lots
reading worse than lot tolerance percent defective should be rejected.
However, this may not be necessarily true.
